How to Use Google Translate

Visit the Google Translate tool at translate.google.com.  This is where you will be entering the text that needs to be translated.  You can use this tool to translate a variety of languages on different websites. Unlike other online translation tools, Google Translate does it on the go.

Another really cool feature of this web based software is that you can copy and paste text into the text box and then choose what language you want the text to be translated into.

You can also translate a website.  All you have to do is type the URL of the website into the tool.  Then, you can select the language that you want the text to be translated into.

You can also search for web content that is in another language.  All you have to do is type the search that you are looking for, and then select the language that you wish the results to be displayed in.

You can also add Google Translate to your own website.  Click the “tools” tab.  You will see a tool that will enable you to add Google Translate to your website, so that many different people can view your website in different languages.  You can allow as many languages to be viewable as you’d like.  Then, you will be given an HTML code that you will need to add to your website to enable the tool to work correctly.
