Taste of India was my latest Indian experience in Dublin. I seem to be doing the rounds of all the different Indian restaurants at the moment. Was it good, yes on a few counts.
I noticed first sitting down how comfortable the chairs were, not something that automaticly comes to mind, but theey are great. The service was good and the food was good. I measure all Indian restaurants on the ones that I grew up eating in in Glasgow, and none are quite so good. Eating out is still something I look forward to when I go home to Glasgow – if you are there check out Cafe India, one of the best, though I have not eaten there since they have moved into the Merchant city area.
Anyway back to Taste of India Dublin. I would recommend it and they have an early bird menu which I eat from which for my Scottish mind plays better with my wallet.
Since they don’t appear to have their own web site here are the details – 6 South William St and also at 32 Parliament Street both in Dublin. Both open at noon for lunch and stay open until late evening – tel numbers are 016776873 and 016759973 respectively.
Enjoy it is good.
