I have been enjoying the great food from Jewel in the Crown, an Indian restaurant in Ballsbridge for the last year. Then by surprise it all changed, it is not that the food is bad, it is now just bland.
So before wandering away to find myself another Indian restaurant that I liked I thought I would mention it to the manager, as my guess was the chef had been changed. And I was right. However it seems that I am not the first to notice the difference, the manager explained that the previous chef was still there, but only between Monday and Thursday, so if I wanted the good food instead of the bland food that was the time to visit.
The problem the manger has is that he really has no power within the restaurant, he cannot hire or fire the chef, this is all in the control of the owner.
So please Mr Owner of the Jewel in the Crown – PLEASE CHANGE THE CHEF!
