Irish Unemployment Rise

Irish Unemployment Rise now that sounds bad. The unemployment rate has went up to 5.2% – that doesn’t sound too good either.

However the last time the unemployment rate was this high was 1999 – at that point we all sigh with relief. In 1999 we all thought everything was brilliant so it must still be.

The people that are getting caught in the unemployment problem are Irish and that is a problem. Most of the migrants that come to the country either work or go back home – and Irish employers have discovered that these migrants work harder than the locals in Dublin. And that will be a problem long term if the unemployment rate continues to rise.

There are still plane and bus loads coming to Ireland everyday to live and work in Ireland and there are still jobs for many of them.
